Ingredients: Green chillies, coconut, onion, pottu kadala or cashews, mustard seeds, Vegetables such as peas, carrots, potatoes, beans (3-4 of them), dhaniya powder, Salt.
1. Fry Coconut, green chillies, onion and pottu kadalai in oil.
2. Grind the above mixture and keep aside.
3. Fry mustard seeds in oil.
4. Add tomato and fry it.
5. Add the vegetables and fry a little.
6. Add dhaniya powder + salt + sufficient water.
7. Cook in sim. Bring to boil.

Tomato Kurma
Ingredients: 4-5 Tomatoes, coconut, green chillies (1/2), onions, ginger-garlic paste, 3-4 Veges such as potatoes, beans, peas, carrots, turmeric, chilli powder, dhaniya powder, Salt, mustard seeds.
1. Grind tomatoes, coconut and green chillies. Keep aside.
2. Fry mustard seeds in oil.

Ingredients: Ginger, pepper, dhaniya powder, jaggery, a pinch of salt, water.

Podalanga Kootu
Ingredients: Podalanga, kadala paruppu, pasi paruppu (very little), onion, 2-3 tomatoes, mustard seeds, coconut, green chillies, dhaniya powder.
1. Pressure cook kadala paruppu and pasi paruppu.
2. Fry the mustard seeds in oil.
3. Fry the onions in it. Add the tomatoes and fry it.
4. Grind the coconut and green chillies.
5. Add the paste to the onions. Add dhaniya powder and salt.
6. Add the podalanga. Cook it.

1. Cut brinjal, tomatoes, green chillies and onion into small pieces.
2. Boil all of them in water till they cook.
3. Grind it in the mixie.

Asoka Halwa
Ingredients: Wheat flour (0.5 cup), maida(0.5 cup: optional ... can use wheat fully), pasi paruppu (1 cup), Ghee, cashew, jaggery, sugar, cardamon.
1. Soak pasi paruppu in water for a few mins. Pressure cook it.
2. Fry the wheat flour and maida in ghee + oil mixture in sim. Fry till it cooks well.
3. Smash pasi paruppu. Add the sugar + jaggery to it.
4. Add the paruppu mixture to wheat.
5. Add cardamon and cashews.
6. Mix well.
7. Cook this in ghee until it gets cooked and the halwa does not stick to the pan.
8. All done.
