Asoka Halwa

Ingredients: Wheat flour (0.5 cup), maida(0.5 cup: optional ... can use wheat fully), pasi paruppu (1 cup), Ghee, cashew, jaggery, sugar, cardamon.

1. Soak pasi paruppu in water for a few mins. Pressure cook it.
2. Fry the wheat flour and maida in ghee + oil mixture in sim. Fry till it cooks well.
3. Smash pasi paruppu. Add the sugar + jaggery to it.
4. Add the paruppu mixture to wheat.
5. Add cardamon and cashews.
6. Mix well.
7. Cook this in ghee until it gets cooked and the halwa does not stick to the pan.
8. All done.
