Ingredients: Onion, Tomato, little tamarind, vegetable, thovaram paruppu, mustard seeds, oil, sambhar powder, chilli powder, turmeric, salt.
1. Pressure cook paruppu.
2. Fry mustard seeds in the oil.
3. Add onions to it. Fry it.
4. Add tomatoes. Fry it.
5. Add the vegetables (depending on the vegetable, time will vary). Fry a little.
6. Add sambhar powder (or just dhaniya powder), turmeric, chilli powder, salt and tamarind paste + water.
7. Cook this till the vegetables get cooked.
8. Add the paruppu. Cook it for only a couple of mins.
9. Add coriander leaves.
